8 Zip for Windows 8 is a file compression/decompression app. It will let you compress files into ZIP, 7z, TAR, GZIP, BZIP2 and XZ format, and let you uncompress (unzip) from RAR, ZIP, 7z, ZipX, ISO, BZIP2, GZIP, TAR, ARJ, CAB with support for encryption in certain format (7z and ZIP).
