Subhash VCDPlayer is a user-friendly audio and video player. It can play VCDs and DVDs too. (For maximum file format support, please install Media Player Codec Pack from http://www.mediaplayercodecpack.com/) Brazilian Portuguese, French Italian and Spanish versions are also available. (Users are also advised to update to the latest version by installing the v2.4.2 patch http://www.vsubhash.com/zip/svcdp_exe_v242.zip)

Subhash VCDPlayer can capture still images from video files. Professional transcriptionists can use it as a wave player to create transcripts of audio and video files.

Subhash VCDPlayer uses Window Media Player under the hood. However, it takes Windows Media Player to surreal heights of functionality and ease of use. This has been made possible by borrowing a few ideas from IrfanView (file browsing), Winamp (system tray icon capabilities) and CyberLink PowerPlayer (keyboard shortcuts and still-image capture), and combining them with a slew of unique features of its own.

What's New Version 2.4.2: Support for streaming URL in clipboard (Just press Ctrl+V on program window) and new audio and video formats such as OGG, MP4, MKV, and WebM (if Media Player Codec Pack is installed).
